IF WE STAND TOGETHER
WE CAN WIN

I know that what needs to be done can’t be achieved without the active participation of our affiliates and more importantly, the workers. Our team is busy arranging meetings and talking about the work that must be done in order for the workers of Alberta to reach their true power.

We know it can be done and so do many others, please check back often to see who believes in a better Alberta and is joining the team!

CUPW has taught me so much and given me so many opportunities to hone my union knowledge & leadership skills. The support of my own union has played a large role in my unwavering commitment to our labour movement and my need to fight for what's right. I am humbled to graciously accept the endorsement from all levels of my union and will always work hard to do them proud.

Damian has been a stalwart representative in our labour movement. It is an honour to have him and IATSE 212 in my corner as we fight for much-needed change in our movement.

Endorsements from the locals & lodges representing workers on the ground means a lot to me. They know the Alberta context and the importance of building relationships across our province. "This election is an opportunity to reflect on where we go to next - and we believe that Greg Mady brings the right experience, energy, and approach to lead the AFL into its next chapter. Greg has shown time and time again that he's committed to engaging directly with workers, building genuine relationships, and fighting for the issues that matter most. His vision is to strengthen mobilization, invest in future leaders, and ensure that every worker sees themselves reflected in the labour movement aligns strongly with the values of IAM. We're confident Greg will work with affiliates - not just speak for them - and we look forward to the positive, collaborative leadership he will bring to the role." - IAM Local 99 & 1722

I am very honoured to have earned the endorsements of leaders I have deep respect for. Putting my name forward is about paying tribute to the people who go the extra step every day to make sure our province is better for working people. A movement based on integrity is crucial to our success. "I’m proud to be supporting Elect Greg Mady AFL President at next week’s AFL Convention in Edmonton. Greg is a long-time, dedicated union activist and someone I’ve had the privilege of working alongside for many years on the AFL Executive Council. He leads with integrity, puts workers first, and brings a fresh, inclusive perspective to the table. Greg understands the power of solidarity and is deeply committed to building strong community relationships, uniting the labour movement, and fighting for the issues that matter most to Alberta’s workers." - Krysty Thomas

Cam has a reputation for standing up for what’s right, even when it’s hard. He knows how important it is to lead by example in labour and politics. "Greg is a trusted and proven labour leader with a vision to grow the AFL and ensure workers feel empowered to act collectively and make gains. His experience, passion, enthusiasm, and drive will be incredible assets to the AFL and workers facing uphill battles at the bargaining table and in their workplaces. - Cam Westhead, UNA Member and former NDP MLA."

"I'm proud to endorse Greg for AFL President! I've seen firsthand how he's built the EDLC into a powerful voice for members, prioritizing grassroots engagement and community-driven initiatives. Greg's commitment to solidarity, transparency, and member empowerment makes him the leader we need to take the AFL forward. Let's unite behind Greg and build a stronger, more inclusive AFL for all!"

If you look up commitment in the dictionary you will see a picture of Scott. He has been advocating for his members and protecting good jobs with every breath since I have known him. It's my honour to have his support in the upcoming AFL election. "I am Scott Crichton, an Assistant Business Manager and Political Advisor with IBEW Local Union 424. I am personally endorsing Greg Mady for the position of President of the Alberta Federation of Labour. Over the last five years, Greg has worked with IBEW 424 and other unions in the Edmonton area to grow participation in our labour movement and bring affiliates together to collaborate and build worker power. He has been integral in successfully organizing major events, such as our popular Labour Day Rematch. Without his leadership, we would not have achieved the level of success we’ve seen in growing participation in our movement and giving workers a strong voice in our district."

I first met Wycliffe almost 20 years ago through CUPW activism. It has been a joy to come up alongside such a strong brother. Having the support of the Calgary local means so much to me. "I endorse Greg Mady for President of the Alberta Federation of Labour (AFL). Our Brother Greg has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the rights and dignity of working people here in Alberta. His leadership is rooted in integrity, action, and an unshakable belief that every worker deserves a strong voice at the table. Greg’s track record speaks for itself—whether it’s organizing fair wages, standing up to corporate injustice, or foresight in safety rules that reflect the true value of labour, he has always put workers first. He understands the challenges we face today and has a bold, inclusive vision for tomorrow. At a time when unions must be strong, smart, and united, Greg Mady is the leader we need. I stand with him—and we ask you to join us in supporting his campaign for AFL President."
